Cortlandville, NY will soon be home to Byrne Dairy’s newest manufacturing facility. Our 40,000 sq. ft. yoghurt plant is planned to be operational within the first quarter of 2014. We will manufacture both Greek and Conventional style Yoghurt. Future phase plans include producing additional cultured products, a 10,000 sq. ft. Artisanal Cheese plant as well as an Agri-Tourism Center. Our Yoghurt and Cheese plants will be designed with mezzanines overlooking operations where guests will be offered guided tours for a complete overview of the entire process from the farm to the package.
The Cortlandville site is132 acres with beautiful landscapes, a serene Cranberry bog (pictured below) and a gabled barn with surrounding pastures to allow for us to have several farm animals. Our Agri-Tourism center will provide guests with the opportunity to taste the foods that we produce and shop at our retail store. We hope to be a destination for entertainment and will greet guests with Windmills that change in color to indicate events taking place at the park.
