Team Byrne has once again been recognized by the Trucking Association of New York Safety Council (TSC) Fleet Safety Awards. Byrne was named 2022 Grand Champion at the 2023 New York State Truck Safety and Education Symposium, held April 3-5 in Saratoga Springs, New York.
In addition to the Grand Champion award, Byrne received first place in the Tank Truck/Bulk Non-Hazmat category. The fleet also was honored with a Bronze Award, which signifies that Byrne has received a Fleet Safety Award for three consecutive years.
Michael Powers, Director of Fleet Safety and Transportation for Byrne, accepted the award on the fleet’s behalf.
“To qualify for this award, a fleet must have an exemplary safety record and proven culture of safety,” said Powers. “Congratulations to the transportation team for putting safety first and being a leader in the industry.”
